Eurovision 2013 Turkey’s instability
Turkish pop singer Aynur AYDIN has revealed on an interview that broadcaster TRT had initially confirmed their participation in the 2013 Eurovision Song Contest. According to her, TRT held a meeting in fall 2012 with the Direction Board and the then-CEO İbrahim Şahin where they initially agreed to take part in the contest.
She explains that TRT later invited many well-known producers, journalists and artists from Turkey to a dinner in December that year. Şahin offered her the possibility to represent the country in Malmö and she accepted, shortly going to Ankara to start producing her entry—which has not yet been released.

So why did the withdrawal still take place? How do you think Aynur AYDIN would get in the competition?
